Normal waterproof cloth makes a loud noise when you walk on it. This Waterproof Ground Cloth has a soft PEVA coating. It makes almost no sound. It has no phthalates. You can touch it with your skin. The puncture resistance is 45N. Small rocks and pine cones will not poke through. You can hand wash it or use a machine on a gentle cycle. Water temperature should stay below 30 degrees. After 10 washes, the fabric keeps over 90% of its waterproof ability.
