Product Overview
Nylon Tarps Waterproof is a PVC-coated nylon Oxford material for truck and cargo covers, building-material protection, temporary roof repair, construction-site covers, and other outdoor jobs where water blocking is the main requirement.

Key Advantages
High Water-Blocking PVC Layer
A 0.22 mm single-side PVC coating brings the finished fabric to 140 g/m² and provides 8,000 mm H₂O water resistance. The coated face forms the rain barrier over cargo, pallets, or temporary roof areas and is intended for more direct wet-weather exposure than uncoated nylon cloth.
Grip and Tensile Control for Transport Covers
The fabric reaches 1050 N warp and 900 N weft tensile strength, and its surface friction coefficient is above 0.5. On truck loads or stacked materials exposed to vibration and road movement, the surface grip helps the cover stay in position while the nylon base carries tie-down load.
Resistance to Industrial Contact
After 24-hour exposure to 10% sulfuric acid and 10% sodium hydroxide solutions, the material shows no change. This gives the PVC-coated surface a defined reference for areas where diluted acidic or alkaline contact may occur, such as construction-material handling or industrial storage.
Customization

Width & Finished Size
Fabric width can be made up to 5 meters for wide covers. Cut length and finished dimensions can then be set to truck beds, material stacks, roof areas, or equipment footprints.
Edges & Fixing Points
Metal eyelets, ropes, reinforced hems, corner patches, and fixing-point spacing can be added to match the tie-down layout of the finished tarp.
Surface & Color
PVC color, matte or smoother surface direction, printed identification, and project-specific labeling are available while retaining the 210D nylon 66 base and the single-side waterproof construction.
Quality Control
The material reference for this waterproof tarp is a 210D nylon 66 Oxford base, 80 g/m² base weight, 0.22 mm single-side PVC coating, and 140 g/m² finished weight. Production checks are made against these confirmed values.
Acceptance values include 8,000 mm H₂O water resistance to ISO 811 and 1050 N warp / 900 N weft tensile strength to ISO 1421. The fabric retains more than 85% strength after 70°C / 168 h hydrolysis exposure, has a surface friction coefficient above 0.5, and shows no change after 24 h exposure to 10% H₂SO₄ or 10% NaOH. Heat-seal peel strength is 10 N/cm, mold resistance is Grade 0 to ISO 846, and strength retention after 500 h QUV aging is more than 80%.
Finished rolls or converted tarps are inspected 100% before packing. Third-party inspection is accepted before shipment when required.
FAQ
Q: How is the fabric packed for export?
A: Packing is arranged according to the confirmed customer requirement.
Q: What are the payment terms?
A: Regular orders use 30% deposit and 70% balance; custom-made orders use 50% deposit and 50% balance.
Q: Which side should face the rain?
A: Use the PVC-coated face as the exposed weather side unless the finished-product design specifies otherwise.
Q: Can damaged edges be heat-sealed?
A: Yes. Use coating-compatible heat-sealing settings confirmed on a sample first.
