Key Advantages
Combined Rain and Wind Barrier
The laminate provides 10,000 mm H₂O water resistance and air permeability below 0.1 cm³/s/cm². In exposed camps, the PTFE laminate limits rain penetration and restricts uncontrolled airflow through the fly or shelter wall when wind pushes water against the panel.
Moisture-Vapor Release Inside the Shelter
Breathability reaches 12,000 g/m²/24 h. During cold nights, high-altitude use, or periods of heavy occupant respiration, water vapor can move through the laminate instead of building up as quickly on the inner surface, which helps reduce condensation conditions around sleeping equipment.
Light Ripstop Base for Trekking Loads
Total laminate weight is 85 g/m². The 70D×70D nylon ripstop base reaches 550 N warp and 500 N weft tensile strength, giving trekking and mountaineering tent panels a lightweight woven structure that can still carry wind tension through the ripstop reinforcement.

Lightweight nylon deniers and different ripstop grids can be selected for flysheet, roof, or reinforced panel areas when packed size and tensile load are different.
Laminate & Surface
Membrane type, laminate build, water-repellent face treatment, and surface hand can be adjusted to the required balance of waterproofing, vapor transmission, wind blocking, and folding performance.
Color & Roll Size
Solid outdoor colors, project-matched shades, printed designs, roll width, and roll length can be prepared to suit the tent brand's cutting plan and panel layout.
Quality Control
- Production checks for this tent fabric use a 70D×70D nylon ripstop base, 55 g/m² base weight, a microporous PTFE membrane, and 85 g/m² total laminated weight as the material reference.
- Acceptance values are 10,000 mm H₂O water resistance to ISO 811, 12,000 g/m²/24 h breathability by JIS L1099 B1, and air permeability below 0.1 cm³/s/cm² to ASTM D737. The specification also includes 550 N warp / 500 N weft tensile strength, more than 85% strength retained after 300 h QUV aging, no membrane cracking after 100 folds, and a water contact angle above 110°.
