Even Lighter for Long Distance Hikes
Weight is everything for backpacking tents. We use 10D nylon for this product. Finished weight is only 28 grams per square meter. A two person tent can pack down to under one kilogram. The base is 10D or 20D high density nylon. Thread count is over 260T. We use a ripstop structure. Coating is ultra thin microporous polyurethane. Micropores are 0.2 to 0.5 microns wide. Liquid water cannot go through. Water vapor can escape. Weight is 28 to 42 grams per square meter. We call this Ultralight Tent Fabric.

Quiet, Low Noise, and Eco Friendly
Raindrops make less noise on this Ultralight Tent Fabric. We measure about 30% lower sound than normal tent fabric. You can sleep better during a night rain. Surface has C6 fluorocarbon water repellent. Water beads up and rolls off. The coating solvent is water based. No harmful solvents. This fabric meets bluesign requirements. After 300 hours of QUV, strength stays above 85%. We keep standard colors in stock. You can get quick samples.
A Local Brand Took It on a Long Trip
A domestic brand used our 10D fabric for a solo tent. Total weight was 850 grams. They took it on a 20 day trip through western China. The tent had no damage.
