The materials used to make the tent are white cotton cloth and damp blue cloth. First, the white cloth is cut to the desired size for the tent. Then, auspicious patterns such as the Eight Treasures, dragons, deer, bats, and clouds are cut from the damp blue cloth. These patterns are then laid out on the white cloth and sewn together with colorful silk threads.
White cloth tents are often decorated, with various checkered patterns, scroll patterns, cloud patterns, and the Eight Treasures emblems cut from black and blue cloth and sewn onto the tent's surface and four corners. A symbolic red, yellow, and blue drape is sewn along the front edge of the tent.
