Key Advantages

PVC Barrier for Saturated Ground

According to the Key Data Table, the fabric uses a PVC knife-scraped coating with thickness >=0.35 mm and water resistance above 8,000 mm H2O under ISO 811. Those figures matter most when the floor is laid on wet ground, shallow standing water, or areas pressed down by sleeping systems and stored equipment. The coating forms the moisture barrier between the ground and the tent interior.

Load-Bearing Oxford Structure

The base is 600D x 600D polyester Oxford at 96T x 96T and 280 g/m2. Tensile strength is 1,800 N in warp and 1,600 N in weft. This heavier woven structure is suited to floor panels that are pulled over frame edges, loaded with gear or kept under tension during setup, where local stress and panel distortion are common concerns.

Cold-Flex and Surface-Wear Resistance

Puncture resistance is listed at a 120 N peak. The same table records no cracking at -20 C under ISO 4675 and 0.5 g weight loss after 500 H18 abrasion cycles with a 1,000 g load. These are practical checks for floor fabric that will be folded repeatedly, used on gravel or small branches, and handled in cold weather.

Fabric Construction

For floor-fabric projects based on a technical sheet or reference sample, yarn construction, weave density and finished weight can be matched to that requirement.

Coating Specification

PVC knife-coated versions can be specified by coating build, waterproof target, surface texture and the seam-processing method that will be used later.

Color and Roll Preparation

Shade, surface appearance, roll length, labeling and export packing are set from the final project specification.

Quality Control

  • Quality control starts with the base fabric and coating. Yarn construction, weave density, finished weight and PVC coating thickness are checked against the approved floor-fabric specification during production.
  • Functional testing follows the items listed in the Key Data Table. Depending on the order, this includes water resistance, tensile strength, puncture resistance, low-temperature flexibility and abrasion, using the agreed test method.
  • Final roll inspection looks for holes, coating streaks, pinholes, edge damage and visible shade variation, and also checks usable length and label accuracy. Third-party pre-shipment inspection can be accepted when the buyer requires it.

Products Description

Q: Can I get a sample before placing an order?

A: Yes. Regular product samples can be provided free of charge.

Q: What is the MOQ for Tent Floor Fabric?

A: MOQ depends on the selected fabric, color, coating and project requirement and is confirmed with the order specification.

Q: Is the listed PVC thickness the same as the total fabric thickness?

A: No. The figure in the Key Data Table refers to the PVC coating thickness. The total thickness of the coated fabric can be different.

Q: Are abrasion resistance and puncture resistance the same property?

A: No. Abrasion resistance measures surface wear, while puncture resistance measures a different type of contact damage. They are controlled separately.
