Sun Screen Cloth is a woven polyester monofilament solar-screen mesh for applications that need shade without completely blocking the view through the fabric. It is used for balcony screens, exterior window shades, patio enclosures, roller-shade systems, privacy screens, and façade screening panels.

UPF 50+ UV Screening
The qualified construction reaches UPF 50+, with UVA transmittance below 2% and a UV block rate above 98% under GB/T 18830. On exterior windows and balconies, the mesh reduces ultraviolet transmission while keeping the open structure needed for outward visibility.

Dimensional Stability for Roller Systems
Warp/weft tensile strength is 1200/1000 N, and dimensional change is below 2%. On wide roller shades and framed panels that are tensioned, rolled, and released repeatedly, these properties help the mesh hold its geometry and limit edge drift or panel distortion.

UV Aging and Temperature Range
After 1,000 hours of QUV exposure, the fabric retains more than 90% of its strength. The specified temperature range is -20°C to 70°C. This covers exterior screens left in place through summer heat, cold off-seasons, and continued UV exposure.

Openness Options
Open-area constructions of 5%, 10%, 15%, or 20% are available to balance outward visibility with solar control.

Weave Construction
Honeycomb and rectangular weave formats are available for different screen geometries.

Quality Control

Staff begin each lot inspection by comparing the polyester monofilament construction with the confirmed specification and the approved sample where applicable. They also check weave geometry, openness, and roll consistency.
Where the order defines performance requirements, staff check UV protection, tensile strength, dimensional change, UV aging, temperature range, and flame-retardant items against the confirmed product specification.
A 100% inspection is completed before the screen cloth is packed, covering appearance, roll condition, edge alignment, and conversion items specified for the order. Third-party inspection is accepted when an independent check is required before shipment release.
