One Fabric for Sun and Rain
Patio umbrellas, awnings, and pergola covers need to block sun and also resist rain. We make a three layer fabric for this job. The top layer is high weather resistance polyester with silver coating. It reflects sunlight. The middle layer is a black high cover polyester layer. It stops any light from passing through. The bottom layer is a waterproof PVC film. Total weight is 280 grams per square meter. We call this product Waterproof Sun Shade Fabric. It keeps you cool and dry under your outdoor structure.

No glare comes through. The PVC bottom layer is waterproof. Rain will not leak through. The surface resists dirt. Rain can wash away dust. The fabric also resists mold. You can leave it up all summer without worry. We test UV aging for 500 hours. The color change is very small. It will not fade quickly.
