UV Sun Shade Fabric is an opaque coated polyester Oxford fabric for shade products used in strong solar conditions. It is used for beach tents, sun shelters, canopy roofs, camping shade equipment, high-altitude shelters, and portable outdoor covers.

Lightweight Oxford Construction
The fabric uses a 150D × 150D Oxford base at 120 g/m² (±5 g). This keeps the material manageable for portable tents and sun shelters that are packed, carried, cut, and sewn into shaped panels, while retaining a solid rather than open-mesh construction.

UPF 50+ with UVA Below 1%
The qualified construction is rated UPF 50+ with UVA transmittance below 1%. The coated Oxford structure sharply reduces ultraviolet transmission through the roof surface of beach shelters, exposed camps, and open shade canopies under prolonged sunlight.

5,000 mm Water Resistance
Hydrostatic resistance reaches 5,000 mm H₂O. If a sun shelter remains erected when clear weather turns to rain, the coating prevents water from passing through the canopy body.

Customization Capability

Color and Surface
Available finishes include reflective-looking surfaces, solid production colors, and color matching to an approved swatch for the solar-facing side.

Converted Panel Format
The material can be supplied as roll goods or as cut panels made from confirmed technical drawings for tents, shelters, and canopy assemblies.

Private Label Packaging
OEM or ODM programs can use customer-specified labels, packaging formats, carton marks, and shipment packing requirements.

Quality Control

Inspection begins with the confirmed polyester Oxford construction and the approved sample where applicable. Operators use inspection equipment to compare basis weight, weave appearance, and overall fabric condition with the agreed specification.
If the order includes performance requirements, staff check UV protection, UVA transmittance, and hydrostatic resistance against the confirmed product specification before shipment release.
All finished rolls undergo a 100% inspection before packing for appearance, edge condition, roll consistency, and conversion items specified for the order. Independent third-party verification is accepted when required for the shipment.
