Product Overview
Textile Fluorescent is a polyester-based fluorescent trim material used as a high-visibility component rather than a full garment shell. It is used for workwear edging, safety-vest trim, pocket and seam accents, bags, uniforms, patches and other products that need strong daytime color contrast.

Key Features
Color Fastness
Light fastness and dry-rubbing fastness are both Grade 4+. For binding edges, straps and garment trim exposed to daylight and frequent rubbing against gloves, bags or outer layers, these ratings give a practical measure of shade retention and resistance to noticeable color transfer.
Webbing Strength
At 25 mm width, the webbing exceeds 800 N tensile strength. It can be used for adjustment tabs, edge binding and reinforcement strips that take routine pulling during garment or bag handling. It remains a trim component and is not certified fall-arrest or life-safety webbing.
Formaldehyde and Dry-Cleaning Fastness
Formaldehyde content is below 20 ppm, and dry-cleaning color fastness is Grade 4+. These values are relevant for workwear trims used close to clothing-contact areas and for products that go through commercial garment-care processes.
Customization Capability

Product Form and Size
The material can be supplied as polyester webbing, binding tape or thin woven fabric. Webbing can be specified from 10 to 50 mm wide, with an approximate thickness of 0.5-1.2 mm.
Fluorescent Color
Fluorescent yellow and orange-red are the standard high-visibility color directions. Production shade is matched against an approved lab dip or reference sample.
Branding Options
Logos and repeating identification marks can be woven or printed into the trim. Artwork size is adjusted to the selected tape width.
Quality Control
- Before dyeing or printing, webbing and woven bases are checked for width, thickness, weave consistency, straight edges and stable roll tension. Fluorescent lots are then matched against the approved shade standard under controlled lighting to reduce visible roll-to-roll variation.
- Representative samples are checked against the approved construction and shade specification. Any chemical-control items included in the order requirements are also verified before the lot is released.
- Before shipment, every finished roll is checked for width deviation, dye streaks, broken yarns, print defects, frayed edges and roll presentation. The inspection is carried out at the packing stage for all finished rolls.
Products Description
Q: Can I get a standard sample?
A: Yes. Standard product samples can be provided free.
Q: What is the MOQ for fluorescent webbing?
A: MOQ is 500 meters for standard webbing.
Q: Is fluorescent textile the same as reflective material?
A: No. Fluorescent color improves daytime conspicuity; it does not retroreflect headlights.
Q: How can the trim be applied to garments?
A: It can be pre-sewn or heat-taped, depending on the construction.
