Heavy Duty for Extreme Conditions
Some tents are not for casual camping. Military tents, disaster shelters, and heavy vehicle covers need strong material. We use 1200D yarn for this product. It feels like a light armor. The yarn is 1200D/2 ply polyester. Two threads twist together. We weave with 48T×48T density. Finished weight is 520 grams per square meter. We add double sided calendered PVC film, 0.45mm thick. The surface has anti slip texture. We call this Thick Tent Fabric. It stands up to wind, snow, and rocks.

Resists Cold, Fire, and Welding
This Thick Tent Fabric bends without cracks at minus 40 degrees. It works in very cold places. The flame retardant version meets NFPA 701 or DIN 4102 B1. We test xenon arc aging for 1000 hours. The fabric keeps over 80% of its strength. The PVC surface allows high frequency welding. Welded seam peel strength is at least 20 N/cm. That is important for large span tents. We also add mold resistance.
